From Yarn to Finished Fabric
Our integrated manufacturing process brings together material selection, colour development, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing and quality assurance to deliver fabric to defined customer specifications.
A relentless focus on quality and consistency at each stage across the manufacturing process enables us to support the scale and responsiveness required by global apparel brands.
Our Process at a Glance
01. Raw Materials
The quality of the finished fabric begins with the materials that go into it. Yarn, dyes and chemicals are sourced against defined quality, compliance and customer requirements, with all incoming materials undergoing stringent inspected before entering production.
We work with suppliers that meet relevant social and environmental requirements, while material selection is aligned with the performance, composition and end-use specifications of each development.
02. Colour Development
Precision in colour begins in our dedicated colour laboratory. Digital colour management and spectrophotometric analysis are used to develop dye recipes, evaluate lab dips and maintain colour within specified tolerances before moving into bulk production.
This provides greater control over colour accuracy, reproducibility and consistency across production runs.
03. Knitting
Our knitting capabilities span a broad range of weft-knit constructions including single jersey, interlock, rib, piqué, waffle, loopback and specialised yarn structures, together with flat-knit collars and bands.
Greige fabric is inspected during production and again through quality assurance before progressing to the next manufacturing stage.
04. Dyeing
Our dyeing capabilities cover cotton, blended and synthetic fabrics, supported by Sedo and OrgaTEX dye-house control systems and automated chemical dispensing.
Recipe and process controls support accuracy and repeatability across batches while providing greater control over chemical use and key manufacturing parameters.
05. Printing
Our printing capabilities combine digital design, CAD/CAM technology, laser screen engraving and eight-colour rotary screen printing to deliver precise and repeatable patterns across a range of fabric compositions.
Capabilities extend from full-coverage and intricate designs to stripes, tight-registration patterns and pigment printing.
06. Finishing & Performance
Finishing brings together the required hand feel, appearance, dimensional characteristics and functional performance of the fabric.
Mechanical capabilities including brushing, sueding, shearing and combing enable different surface characteristics and finishes, while functional treatments can deliver attributes such as moisture management, water repellency, UV protection and antimicrobial performance.
Automated process controls monitor key physical parameters through this stage to maintain consistency against customer specifications.
07. Quality Throughout the Process
Quality assurance is integrated across each stage of production, with defined controls covering incoming materials, greige inspection, colour evaluation, process parameters and finished fabric performance. This enables potential deviations to be identified and addressed early, supporting greater consistency across production runs.
Every finished piece undergoes 100% final inspection for visual defects, colour consistency and specified physical properties before release to the customer. Our Quality Policy reinforces shared responsibility for quality across the organisation, extending beyond the quality assurance function.
Digitally Connected Manufacturing
Digital systems provide visibility and coordination behind the physical manufacturing process. SAP ERP connects sales, procurement, warehousing, production and finance, while FastReact supports textile-specific production planning and coordination.
Together, these systems strengthen planning, traceability and operational visibility as fabrics move through increasingly complex production requirements.
From Specification to Scale
Whether working from an established fabric specification or a newly developed concept, our integrated process provides the technical capability and manufacturing control to move from development to consistent commercial production.
