Established in 1992, Hayleys Fabric PLC is Sri Lanka’s largest weft-knit fabric manufacturer and is listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. The Group manufactures knitted fabric primarily for export markets, serving an international customer base across performance, intimate, casual and lifestyle apparel applications.
Hayleys Fabric PLC operates as the holding company of the Hayleys Fabric Group, which includes South Asia Textiles Limited, bringing together complementary manufacturing capabilities and an expanded production footprint. The Company is a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading diversified conglomerates.
Over more than three decades, Hayleys Fabric has evolved from a conventional fabric manufacturer into an integrated textile business with capabilities spanning fabric development, knitting, dyeing, printing and finishing, supported by dedicated innovation and increasingly value-added product platforms.

Our Evolution

Over more than three decades, Hayleys Fabric has evolved from a conventional weft-knit fabric manufacturer into an integrated textile business serving some of the world’s leading apparel brands.
Continued investment in manufacturing technology, product development and technical capability has progressively expanded the business into value-added, performance and more sustainable fabrics. The establishment of INNO and the addition of South Asia Textiles further strengthened this evolution, broadening our capabilities and creating a stronger platform for innovation and manufacturing at scale.
